Bring a pop of color to your spring summer wardrobe with this one of a kind modern tie dye top! This art to wear top is handmade with a cotton lycra jersey that I hand dyed with yellow, orange and hot pink dyes, and combined with a solid bright orange cotton lycra jersey. I gave this t-shirt a modern and feminine fitted cut. I added some details on the solid part of the shirt, such as a few appliques and a fake pocket in the hand dyed fabric, and block printed some flowers in the front and back. I used a special hand dyeing process called ice dyeing that allows the pigments of the dyes to separate and brings unique results after batching for 48 hours. Each piece made with this technique turns into a one of a kind piece of wearable art clothing. I have used permanent fiber reactive dyes and washed it the fabric several times to remove the excess of dye. This t-shirt is a size large.
